LOUISE CANNON

Louise trained in Musical Theatre (Dip) at Performance Preparation Academy  and went on the gain her Theatre BA (Tons) at Guildford School of Acting.

Theatrical credits include; Extraordinary Girl & Dance captain in American Idiot, Mary in The Life, Swing in The Pirates of Penzance (Bellerby Studio Theatre), Jill in Jack and the Beanstalk, Dancer in Aladdin (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford), Snow White in Snow White and the seven dwarves (Worthing Pavillion Theatre), Princess Jasmine in Aladdin (Redditch Palace Theatre & Tacchi Morris Arts Centre).

 

Since her performance years she has taught for multiple performing arts companies and currently teaches for schools around the South West; specialising in dance, drama, musical theatre LAMDA and choreographing youth productions. Choreographic credits include; Honk Jr, Peter Pan, Fame Jr, Midsummer Nights Dream, Grease (Stagecoach Andover), Bring It On, Sound of Music (Fairplay Performing Arts), Jasmine through dance (Queens College Taunton), Matilda, Chicago, Annie (Wells Cathedral school).

JESSAMY BOWDITCH

Jessamy became a member of the British Youth Music Theatre in 2017, and then went on to audition for the National Youth Theatre, of which she has now been a member for five years.

 

After studying an extended diploma in music, Jessamy went on to work as a 1:1 vocal coach and a Musical Director for local theatre companies. 

In 2019, Jessamy musically directed her first production – ‘Chicago’ with Yeovil Youth Theatre at the Octagon Theatre. Since then, she has been fortunate enough to work with a wide range of companies in the local area including, REAMBA professional panto (‘Beauty and the Beast’ 2021, ‘Sleeping Beauty’ 2022), YYT (‘Chicago’ 2019, ‘Autumn Cabaret’ 2021, ‘Ghost’ 2022), YAOS (‘Together Again Concert’ 2021), MOTIV8 (‘Addams Family’ 2022, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ 2022) , YAPS (‘Cinderella’ 2022), NYMT (‘A Kiss for Cinderella’ 2022) and currently works as a vocal/piano teacher at BeeMusic. 

 

Last year, Jessamy worked as the Assistant MD for the National Youth Music Theatre’s production of ‘A Kiss for Cinderella’. The world premier of this production was then performed in London during the summer. 

Jessamy is currently working as the Musical Director for YAOS’ production of Anything Goes which will be performed at the Octagon Theatre in March 2023.
